Marlin the pastor was teaching from th book of revalations CH.11 he was reading about the end of the days and how two prophets will come and preach the word of GOD and will beg everyone to repent, they will have the power to bring fire down from heaven, cause drought and cast plagues. Not everyone likes to here the word of GOD even now. These are people that love sin and are comfortable living in it, they know they are doing wrong but dont want to change, they hate truth. During the time of the prophets these people will find the prophets and will hate them. Marlin also talked about the christian walk and how there are people all around us that hate us because we are followers of Christ.
Its a sad thing to say but its very true, its a struggle being a Christian especially living in a Nation that has strayed so far from GOD. People dont want to hear it. Not in school, not in the work place, not even friends and family.
I am curious as to why peoples hearts are so cold towards GOD and why they want to shut out someone who loves them more than any human could love another human.
We are so caught up in materialistic things and what others think of us, that we lose sight of the purpose of LIFE itself.
REMEMBER: in the end your materials wont mean a thing and neither will other peoples opinions, because nothing ever lasts in this world its all comes down to you and GOD.
